Sometime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday, an unknown man who spoke pidgin approached an adult female and a minor female in the vicinity of the Piʻihonua bridge and led them to a remote area, where he sexually assaulted both of them.

Police are searching for a credit card fraud suspect

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in a fraudulent use of a credit card case that occurred on December 4. Police ask anyone who knows his identity to call Officer Michael Santos at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
