Police are looking for 29-year-old Tommy Eugan Howard. He is described as African-American with black hair and brown eyes. He may wear contact lenses that alter his eye color. He has a tattoo of a chain of musical notes that runs from his left shoulder down along his left arm. He sometimes goes by the names Casino, Tommy Washington and Cesar Waltz.

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in providing information about a man wanted in connection with a stabbing Tuesday (May 22) in Kailua-Kona.

At 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, Kona patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing at Laʻaloa Beach Park—also known as White Sands Beach—on Aliʻi Drive.

Police are searching for a Puna man in connection with a stabbing

The incident began with a domestic dispute at a convenience store on Kahakai Boulevard in Hawaiian Beaches Friday (May 11) between a 31-year-old Hawaiian Beaches woman and a 27-year-old Hawaiian Beaches man. During the argument, the man allegedly threw a beer bottle—which hit a 19-year-old man in a parked van—and then left the area.

Big Island police have charged a 43-year-old man who was arrested Wednesday (April 18) in connection with a stabbing incident in Kāpoho.

Jeffrey Robert Perkins of Kāpoho was charged at 11:45 a.m. Friday morning (April 20) with one count of first-degree assault and seven counts of second-degree assault. His bail was set at $19,000.

Responding to an 11:11 p.m. call Wednesday (April 18) at a home near the 7-mile marker on Route 132 in Kāpoho, arriving officers discovered a 28-year-old Kāpoho man with a severe head wound and lacerations, a 25 -year-old Kāpoho woman with a severe laceration to her upper body, and a 45-year-old Kāpoho woman with a minor injury being treated by Fire Department rescue personnel.

Big Island police have arrested a Kaʻū man in connection with a stabbing Monday evening (February 13).

The suspect is identified as 35-year-old Biti Biti Jr. of Ocean View.

Kaʻū Patrol officers responded to a 7:46 p.m. call Monday and were informed that a 44-year-old Ocean View man had been shopping with his wife at a convenience store at the Ocean View Town Center when a male acquaintance confronted him and challenged him to a fight.

Big Island police are looking for a 50-year-old Mountain View man wanted for allegedly stabbing a 46-year-old Volcano man in Kurtistown on March 25, 2011.

On March 25, 2011 at about 1:20 pm, Puna patrol officers responded to a report of an assault victim at the Kurtistown Park off of Route 11. Police and Fire Department Rescue personnel discovered that the 46-year-old victim sustained a stab wound to his chest.

A 72-year-old Kapa'au man has been charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with a stabbing in Kapa'au.

At 10:02 a.m. Friday (December 24), North Kohala patrol officers responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment complex on Ainakea Drive.

Officers determined that the victim, a 90-year-old woman, was stabbed multiple times in her apartment. She identified her assailant as a neighbor who lives in the same complex. Officers located the neighbor and arrested 72-year-old Raymond Talisay on suspicion of attempted murder.

Big Island police have charged a Kona man arrested Tuesday (November 16) in connection with a double stabbing in Kailua-Kona.

At 6:10 p.m. Thursday (November 18), detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations section charged 62-year-old Gene Craig Wells of Kailua-Kona with second-degree murder and second-degree assault. His bail was set at $260,000.
