Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in the location of three fugitives wanted on various warrants. These individuals have no known connection to each other, however all have ties to the Puna District. One of them is being sought for questioning in other unrelated crimes.

One lane of Hina Lani Street in Kona closed due to accident investigation

From 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday (May 4), the east-bound lane of Hina Lani Street at Kamanu Street will be closed to traffic. Motorists should take a detour through Kaloko Light Industrial Park in Kona. The roadway closure is due to traffic accident reconstruction being conducted by the Traffic Enforcement Unit’s investigation.
