Fire/rescue crews responded to a 10:12 a.m. alarm Wednesday (July 27) for a two-story home on fire on Oceanview Parkway in the Blacksands Subdivision in Puna. Fire crews found the first floor of the home engulfed in flames with the fire spreading to the second floor. Firefighters witnessed a large explosion of a 100 gallon propane tank which blew the roof off part of the garage.
