The Hilo High Viking girls were victorious over Kealakehe in Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 Girls D-1 action at the Hilo Armory. The host Vikings defeated the visiting Waveriders 51-37. Hilo’s Tani Chamberlin led all scorers with 15 points with teamate Tia Penne-Kimi scoring 10 points. For the visiting Waveriders Danni Bean scored 12 points followed by Charn Cabreros with 8 points.
