Hawaiʻi Island police located 29-year old Jeffrey DeCastro of Hilo who was wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery on September 15. On September 19, he was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He was released from police custody the following day pending further investigation.

Police arrest man after robbery in Hilo Wednesday (July 30)

Hawaiʻi Island police have charged a Hilo man who was arrested in connection with a robbery Wednesday in Hilo. At 3:10 p.m. Thursday (July 31), detectives charged 30-year-old Shannon L. Y. Estocado of Hilo with second-degree robbery, first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree assault. He was released after posting $7,250 bail.
