Fire/rescue responded to a 1:44 p.m. alarm Monday (May 28) after a Blue Hawaii helicopter made a 'precautionary landing' in an open field off North Kulani Road in Mountain View. The pilot told fire department personnel that a 'Chip Warning Light' came on so he landed in the open field with four passengers on board. There were no injuries in the landing.
