The Rotary Club of Kona Sunrise hosts its 2nd Annual Chairs For Charity Art Scholarship Fundraiser at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel luau grounds at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.

Monies raised from this event support local students seeking college majors in the arts. More than 20 artists from Kona, Holualoa, Waimea, Hilo and Volcano have contributed their talents, creating unique, one of a kind works of art; not only chairs, but also tables, benches, surfboards, and more.

Artists participating represent several well-known galleries including Rumley Gallery, Wyland Gallery, One Gallery, Genesis Gallery and the Donkey Mill Art Center.

A live auction will be held with Eddie O from LAVA 105.3 FM radio serving as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer.
