Big Island police are searching for a missing Hilo man and infant girl.
Brandon Quintal, 34, and Sapphira Winkler, 2, were last seen around 3 p.m. Tuesday (February 15) in the King’s Landing area of Hilo.
Quintal is described as about 5-foot-5, about 150 pounds, with brown eyes and short dark brown or black hair. He may be operating a maroon 1993 Nissan pickup truck with silver stripes, license plate FCZ-390.
Police ask that anyone with information about their whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. Big Island police have located 34-year-old Brandon Quintal and 2-year-old Sapphira Winkler, who were reported missing.
They were found unharmed in Hilo at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday (February 16).
