DeMello’s apppointment on the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Legislation Committee extended

University of Hawaii at Hilo Associate Athletic Director/Women’s Golf Coach Jim DeMello has been tabbed for another term on the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Legislation Committee.

His appointed is effective until June 2013.

Committee member’s are responsible for chairing respective regional committees, evaluate teams, participate on regional and national conference calls, staffing regional tournaments, attending the DII Women’s Golf Championship, develop and review agenda items for annual meetings, and setting up regional advisory committees for upcoming seasons.

Other members of the committee are Glennville State College Athletic Director Janet K. Bailey, Concordia University (St. Paul) Golf Coach Matthew T. Higgins and Rollins College Women’s Golf Coach Julie Garner.

DeMello’s initial appointment began August 2008 and was set to expire in September 2009.
