The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended a Flood Advisory for the Big Island until 1 p.m. At 9:48 a.m. radar showed heavy rain along the Southeast coast of the Puna district moving slowly upslope towards Volcano, Mountain View and Glenwood. Other areas affected by the advisory are Kapoho and Hawaiian Beaches.
