Officer John F. McCarron

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee recognized Officer John F. McCarron as “Officer of the Month” in a luncheon ceremony Wednesday (June 3) at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

 

Officer McCarron was honored for identifying and arresting a suspect who stole an EBT card and used it at several local grocery stores.

As “Officer of the Month,” McCarron is eligible to become “Officer of the Year.”

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee is an organization that encourages community involvement in aiding and supporting police in West Hawai’i.
