The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a marine advisory for Big Island leeward waters and waters Southeast of the Big Island. A low pressure system just North of Kauai will bring the potential for thunderstorms tonight and Saturday.

The system may produce dangerous lightning and heavy downpours which can reduce visibility. Waterspout activity is also possible.
