Hawaii County fire/rescue crews from Honokaa responded to a 4:45 p.m. alarm Sunday (July 25) for a brushfire near Keanakolu and Mana Roads mauka of Umikoa Village. Crews found two acres of pasture land with a few scattered trees burning. The fire started along Keanakolu and Mana Road approximately 15 miles from the Saddle Road access and five miles mauka of Umikoa Village in Kukaiau Ranch.
