About 36,000 in the United States and 270 in Canada Contours Options three- and four-wheeled strollers are recalled. Kolcraft and CPSC have received five reports of injuries involving the hinge mechanism, including reports of three children whose fingertips were amputated and two adults whose fingers were either smashed or lacerated.

A drawstring on the stroller can get wrapped around a child’s neck, posing a strangulation hazard. The firm has received one report of an 11-month-old girl who got entangled at the neck by the stroller’s drawstring. The child was freed by her mother.
