Applications for scenic byways are being sought as the state designates two additional scenic byways. Hawaii Island’s Ka‘u Scenic Byway—The Slopes of Mauna and Ka‘uai’s Holo Holo Koloa Scenic Byway were recently designated, bringing the state’s total to four (4). Nominations are due March 31, 2012. An application may be obtained at www.hawaiiscenicbyways.org
