Pahoa man stabbed in road rage incident Wednesday (Nov 22)

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a stabbing in connection with a road rage incident. At 3:29 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, (November 22), a 25-year-old Pāhoa man told police he was stabbed in the chest by the driver of a light-colored sedan following an argument on Moho Road, (Road 8), in the Hawaiian Acres Subdivision.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. Monday, Kona patrol officers responded to a reported road rage incident in Kailua-Kona. They received information that the driver of a maroon Jeep had honked at a blue sedan after it reportedly cut her off while leaving the Kona Commons shopping center on Makala Boulevard.

Big Island Police are investigating a reported road rage incident as a criminal property damage case.

At 8:15 p.m. Wednesday (July 25), a 59-year-old Puna man reported at the Pāhoa police station that he had been driving in the Pāhoa direction on the Keaʻau-Pāhoa Road (Route 130) when he passed a Toyota pickup truck just south of the intersection with Ainaloa Blvd.

Around 7:49 a.m., police received a report of what initially appeared to be a traffic collision on Maku'u Drive at the Route 130 (Kea'au/Pāhoa Highway) intersection. Police received numerous reports from passing motorists that prior to the collision, the occupants of a blue Chevrolet Equinox had been arguing with the driver of an early model blue BMW sedan and it appeared that one of the vehicles intentionally rammed the other.
