Kaiwiki bridge repairs were completed today at noon, one day ahead of schedule. The first wooden bridge on Kaiwiki rd in South Hilo was partially closed for two days from 8:00 a.m. to noon (except for emergency vehicles). Repairs were originally scheduled for completion Friday.

Pahala Public and School Library (Big Island) is scheduled to reopen on Monday, January 25 at 11 a.m. The Library has been closed for major renovations including health, safety, and accessibility improvements, and the installation of a new roof.
