Hawai‘i Hilo junior middle blocker Hillary-Lucy Hurley (Anderson, Calif./Enterprise) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, Ariz., on Monday, Oct. 11, for matches played Oct. 4-10.

Big innings were the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s downfall as they dropped a Pacific West Conference twinbill to Hawaii Pacific University, 9-3 and 8-7, on the Hans L’Orange Field in Waipahu, HI. The Vulcans are 15-24 overall and 10-18 in the PacWest while the Sea Warriors are 32-10 overall and 24-4 in the PacWest.
