All students will be admitted free to “Pacific Moon Under the Stars,” the next concert by the Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands, Saturday, August 7, 6 pm, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Kamehameha Court.  Conductors Philip Simmons and Hiroaki Ueba will lead members of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra in a world music program with works by Queen Lili'uokalani, Yasushi Akutagawa, Edvard Grieg, Antonio Vivaldi, and popular selections by American composers George Gershwin, Leroy Anderson, John Williams, and Harold Arlen.

The Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands performs “Pacific Moon Under the Stars,” Saturday, August 7, 6 PM, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Kamehameha Court. The concert will include Hawaiian and Japanese music, along with works by Gershwin, Grieg, and Vivaldi.
