The House of Representatives passed House Resolution 136, which establishes a committee to investigate the County of Hawaii Department of Water Supply. The purpose of the committee will be to investigate the status and handling of the stalled Ocean View – Kahuku water system construction project on the island of Hawaii.

At 11 a.m. Sunday (September 20), detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigations Section charged 41-year-old Sean Patrick Mitchell of Ocean View with attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the second degree and criminal property damage in the third degree following the reported stabbing at a home in Captain Cook.
