Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park

Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park to raise entrance fees

The National Park Service (NPS) announced today Pu‘uhōnua o Honaunau National Historical Park will modify its entrance fees to provide additional funding for infrastructure and maintenance needs to enhance the visitor experience. Effective on June 1, 2018 the park fees will increase to $15 per vehicle, $7 per person walking in, and $10 per motorcycle.

National Parks lifetime Senior Pass cost to increase from $10 to $80

On August 28, 2017, the price of the America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass will increase for the first time since 1994. The lifetime Senior Pass will increase from $10 to $80.
