Flags to fly at half-staff Friday (Aug 31) in memory of astronaut Neil Armstrong

Governor Neil Abercrombie has ordered that all national and Hawai’i flags at state offices and agencies as well as the Hawai’i National Guard are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, August 31, 2012, in memory of astronaut Neil Armstrong, as directed by President Barack Obama.
