Hawaiʻi Island police have positively identified the victim of the shooting Monday (May 20) in the Nanawale Estates subdivision. He is identified as 40-year-old Mateo D. Balinbin Jr. of Nanawale Estates. Balinbin’s autopsy, originally planned for today, has been rescheduled for Wednesday (May 22).
