Fire/rescue responded to a 9:48 p.m. alarm Friday night (July 13) to a motorcycle crash with car near the 17 mile marker of Mamalahoa Highway (Hwy 190). A motorcyclist died Wednesday morning following a collision with a car on Mamalahoa Highway near Puuanahulu, according to fire officials. The man apparently hit the rear of the car with his Kawasaki motorcycle and lost control just south of Waikoloa Road, fire official reported. The collision occurred in a construction zone.
