Results of the 3rd Annual Miloli’i Long Distance canoe race held Saturday (Aug 27) at Milolii. The women and mixed teams paddled 6.6 miles to “Two Stone†and back to the finish line at Milolii with the men’s crews racing 9.2 miles to Kipahoehoe and return to Milolii.

Fire/rescue crews responded to a 10:56 p.m. alarm Wednesday (Oct 12) for a structure fire in Milolii. Firefighters found a two-story oceanfront home on fire. Two engine companies and two tanker units worked to put out the blaze which was under control by 3 a.m. and out at 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
