Tree brings down power line near Manuka State Park, closes Highway 11

Hawaii Electric Light Company (HELCO) has announced that at 8:57 a.m. on January 25, 2012 a power interruption occurred due to a tree that fell on HELCO transmission lines near Manuka State Park along Highway 11, affecting approximately 1700 customers.
