MEDIA RELEASE During fiscal year 2009, total state agency electric consumption dropped 5.8 percent from 2008 and 2.5 percent from the baseline year of 2005, according to the Department of Business Economic Development and Tourismâ€™s (DBEDT) annual “Lead By Example” report to the state Legislature.
