Pōhakuloa Training Area to allow bow hunting this weekend (Oct 13-14)

Pōhakuloa Training Area will open several areas to bow hunting on Saturday Oct. 13 and Sunday Oct. 14. Training Areas 1, 2, 4, 10 and 11 will be open for mammal hunting between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. No early access to hunting areas is permitted. Hunters must check out by 7 p.m. each day.

Hawaii-Bird hunting will be allowed Dec.10-11 at Pohakuloa Training Area in training areas 1-4. Temporary hunting passes and maps will be issued at designated check-in/check-out stations beginning at 5 a.m. and check-out no later than 7 p.m. on both days.
