Fire/rescue crews responded to a 5:46 p.m. alarm Monday (Aug 20) to Kawaihae Road near the 61 mile marker for a crash between a semi-truck and a compact sedan. The driver of the semi-truck was able to get out of his vehicle while the compact sedan driver was trapped in his car with multiple injuries.
