Fire rescue crews responded to a 10:24 a.m. alarm Saturday (June 4) to 12-4919 Ahia Road in the Kalapana area of Puna for a structure fire. Crews arrived to find a single-story home engulfed in flames. Firefighters had the fire under control by 11:10 a.m. and it was declared out at 11:30 a.m.
