A high surf advisory remains in effect for Hawaii Island north and east shores until 6 p.m. Tuesday (Aug 4). This east swell is generated by Hurricane Guillermo and is expected to peak Monday night. Surf is forecast to be in the eight to 12 foot range tonight and 10-14 feet Monday through Tuesday.
