Hawaii will receive $751,459 for the construction, acquisition or rehabilitation of affordable housing units in all four counties, Senators Daniel K. Inouye and Daniel K. Akaka announced today.

The money was awarded to the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation through a grant funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
