The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a high surf advisory for South facing shores of all Hawaiian islands through 6 p.m. Wednesday (Oct 5). Surf is forecast to be in the six to 12 foot range today. The high surf can cause dangerous rip currents and beach erosion.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the High Surf Advisory for South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands until 6 p.m. Sunday (Sept 11). Surf is forecast to be five to eight feet in height. Beachgoers should use caution due to dangerous rip currents caused by the high surf.
