“Once upon a time,” one of the best-known phrases in the English language, comes to life in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s iconical musical, “Into the Woods.”  The show is being presented by Hawaii Preparatory Academy’s Ka Makani Theatre at 7 p.m., November 11-13, and at 4 p.m. on November 14 in the school’s Gates Performing Arts Center.  Tickets, which are only available at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Hawaii Preparatory Academy dedicated the new Stanford W. Shutes Track on Monday, September 13.  Lower, Middle, Upper School students and special guests, including the track’s namesake and many of his former students, gathered for the ceremony officiated by Father Guy Piltz.

HPA will offer three swim/water polo camps for students 8 years of age and older at the school’s Dowsett Pool.  Students must be able to swim 25 yards or more to attend the camps. Session 1 will run March 22-25; Session 2 will run June 7-11; and Session 3 will run June 14-18.
