The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Big Island until 2:30 a.m. Monday (Jan 6). At 11:18 p.m. weather radar showed heavy rain in a thunderstorm near Ookala or about 26 miles Northwest of Hilo.
