Fire/rescue units responded to a 9:27 p.m. alarm Sunday night (July 10) to Kawainui Stream near Old Mamalahoa Highway in Pepeekeo for a 43 year-old man who may have been swept away in a flash flood. Witnesses reported to authorities that the man was last seen in the stream when a flash flood occurred.
