The Swords saw their first Division II action of the year this evening as they defeated the Vulcans of UH-Hilo by a score of 77-64. 
 
The Swords and Vulcans battled early, but CUH used a late first half run to take a 45-32 lead into the break.  Chaminade was hot from the arc in the first half shooting 7-14 from three in the opening twenty minutes.  The second half was even as both teams scored 32 points apiece for the 77-64 final tally.

Nina Hagemann and Kirsta Andrew finished 10th and 11th at the University of Hawaii at Hilo 6k Invitational to lead the Vulcans to a third place finish.

Hagemann finished the race in 26:44 followed by Andrew at 26.55.

Also competing for the Vulcans were Malia Williams (16th, 28:21), Lauren Vieira (21st, 29:37) and Lilliana DeSmither (24th, 31:13).
