Hawaiʻi Island police have been investigating a rash of burglaries in Kona. During the month of September, police responded to 33 burglaries in the Kona District, including 13 along Aliʻi Drive. Many of those were in condominium units, where the intruders gained entry using unlocked sliding glass doors.
