Ka‘u brush fire extinguished

Hawaii 24/7 Staff Firefighters continued knocking out a brush fire in Ka‘u for the second day on Tuesday. The fire is now extinguished. Crew monitored the perimeter and smothered hot spots in the area near Upper Cane Haul Road where nearly 8 acres burned. No structures were damaged and no one was injured.
