Please bring any incandescent light bulbs you would like to upgrade to CFL’s to the Advancement Office at Parker School for exchange. Feel free to spread the word.

Parker earns $.50 for each bulb exchanged. In addition to bringing bulbs to the school we will also be exchanging bulbs at a few community locations -- Saturday (April 14) at KTA Waimea from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Waikoloa KTA Village Market at 68-3916 Paniolo Avenue on Friday (April 20) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Trade-in your incandescent light bulbs for compact fluorescents Saturday (March 24) in Kona

Students from West Hawaii Explorations Academy, one of the schools participating in the Big Island Bulb Blitz, will help coordinate the McDonald’s CFL exchange. For every incandescent bulb exchanged at the event, West Hawaii Explorations Academy will receive 50 cents. While supplies last, participants will receive a free CFL for every incandescent bulb brought in.
