The Hawai'i Police Department is warning the public about an automobile repair scam. A South Kohala man was approached by an unidentified man in the parking lot of a shopping center. The unidentified man said he had observed the victim's vehicle on the roadway with a wobbling rear tire and offered to fix the problem for a fee.
