As part of the Adopt-A-Highway program, Hawaii Electric Light Company (HELCO) employees cleaned a stretch of Kanoelehua Avenue on August 14, 2010. Over 20 volunteers spent two hours on Saturday morning picking up litter along busy Kanoelehua Avenue, from Puainako Street to Kamehameha Avenue. The team effort was coordinated by HELCO’s Engineering Department.
