The girls state volleyball tournament kicks off this week with two Big Island schools seeded fourth. Big Island Interscholastic Federation champions Kamehameha-Hawaii and Hawaii Preparatory Academy have each been awarded 4th seeds. The Division I tournament runs Wednesday through Saturday on Maui.
