On Tuesday, January 25th 2011 NFL Football Players and NFL Cheerleaders will be holding Youth Clinics for Hawaii Island students at Kealakehe High School from 3:00–5:30 PM and Wednesday, January 26th 2011, at Keaau High School from 3:00–5:30 PM.  Players and cheerleaders will also be visiting local schools for assemblies before the clinics. The NFL Pro Bowl Youth Clinics, now in its ninth year, is focused on motivating our youth to realize their dreams and to maximize their potential.

At Waianae, the home team knocked off No. 4 seed Kealakehe, 36-19. Neither team advances in the single-elimination tournament.

Free football camps for youth in grades 1 through 12 will be held Wednesday, June 23, at Old Kona Airport Lighted Field, and on Thursday, June 24, at Wong Stadium, Hilo.

Registration for the Old Kona Airport camp will take place 7-7:30 a.m. for grades 1 through 8; the program will be 8-10 a.m. Registration for grades 9-12 will be 9:30-10 a.m.; the program will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Registration for the Wong Stadium camp will take place noon-1 p.m. for grades 1 through 8; the program will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Registration for grades 9-12 will be 2:30-3:30 p.m.; the program will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
