Big Island police are investigating the theft of livestock over the weekend in Honokaʻa. Sometime between July 13 and 14 someone entered a livestock paddock in the Kapulena area and butchered a calf valued at more than $400. The property had been set aside by the county for lease to farmers and ranchers.
