Keʻei green waste wite closed this afternoon (Oct 1) due to max capacity

The Keʻei Transfer Station’s green waste site only is at capacity and is closing at 2:00 p.m. today, October 1, 2019. It should reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The public may take their green waste to the West Hawaiʻi Organics Facility, aka Puʻuanahulu landfill in Waikoloa, which is open six days a week (closed on Sundays), from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
