Police DUI stats for the week of April 23-29, 2018

During the week of April 23, through April 29, 2018, Hawaiʻi Island police arrested 24 motorists for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Two of the drivers were involved in a traffic accident. Two of the drivers were under the age of 21.

Average gas prices in Hawaii rise 7.3 cents per gallon the past week

Average retail gasoline prices in Hawaii have risen 7.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.85/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 355 gas outlets in Hawaii. This compares with the national average that has increased 4.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.81/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com
