Police locate a Naalehu woman reported missing

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 37-year-old Emely Salmo of Nāʻālehu, who was reported missing. She was found in good health.

The police wish to thank the public for their assistance in this incident.

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 37-year-old Nāʻālehu woman who was reported missing.

Emely Salmo was last seen in Nāʻālehu on July 13. She is described as Filipino, 5-feet tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and long fingernails.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Dane Shibuya at 939-2520.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
