Autopsy determines man found floating off Honolii Beach Park had drowned

MEDIA RELEASE

An autopsy was conducted Tuesday (August 23) on the body of a man found floating off the HÄmÄkua Coast on August 16.

The cause of death was determined to be drowning.

The man was identified Thursday evening (August 18) as 28-year-old Adam Hartzog, who had no permanent address but frequented the Hilo area.
